QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
9. Jr. Assistant (Carto)
10th pass + ITI with 2 years relevant experience in the concerned discipline.
10. Jr. Assistant (Survey)
10th pass + ITI in related trade with 2 years relevant experience in the concerned discipline.



AGE LIMIT (As on 01.07.2009)
4. Jr Assistant (Survey) /Jr Assistant (Carto) : Below 30 years.
SELECTION PROCESS:
5. Jr. Assistant (Survey) Jr. Assistant (Carto):- Written test, Trade test and Interview.


CONCESSIONS FOR SC/ST
a. Upper age limit is relexable by 5 years.
b. No application fee.
c. Candidates not working in Govt./Autonomous Body /PSU will be paid second class rail fare for interview only by shortest route as per AAI rules.
CONCESSION FOR OBC
a. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years.
b. OBC certificates should be in the proper format prescribed by the Government of India for Government Services. Caste certificate should be in the prescribed form circulated by Ministry of Personnel & Training Public Grievances and pensions, Department of Pers. & Training, Govt. of India, and must specifically certify that the candidate does not belong to the Persons. Section (Creamy layer) mentioned Col. 3 of the Schedule of the Govt. of India, Department of Pers. & Training O.M.No. 36012/22/93-Estt. (SCT) dated 08.09.1993.
CONCESSION FOR J & K RESIDENTS.
1. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years to all candidates who had originally been domiciled in the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89.
CONCESSION FOR EX-SERVICEMEN
1. As per Govt. rules i.e. total service + 5 years as age relaxation.
CONCESSION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABLITES
i. Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years.
ii. II. No application fee.
The concessions are subject to enclosing attested copy of certificates as proof of belonging to SC/ST/OBC and other categories from a Competent Authority in the format prescribed by Government of India.
CONCESSION FOR AAI EMPLOYEES
1. Upper age limits is relaxable by 10 years for candidates who are in regular service of AAI.


GENERAL:
a. The selected candidates will have to undergo training and during which they will be paid a consolidated amount of Rs. 7500/- per month for JE (ATC), JE (Electronics) and JE ( Fire Services) as stipend.
b. Besides basic pay DA, CCA, HRA other benefits such as Medical, LTC, Leave Encashment, Gratuity, PF, etc. admissible as per AAI rules also will be paid.
c. Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
d. Employees of Govt. /Public Sector Undertaking should forward their applications through proper channel.
e. The written test will be held at Delhi / Mumbai / Kolkata/ Chennai / Guwahati / Allahabad / Ahmadabad / Hyderabad / Nagpur and Thiruvananthapuram. The number of centres can be reduced depending upon number of candidates and in that case the candidates will be adjusted in the nearest centre.
f. The eligibility with respect to age, experience etc. will be determined as on 01.07.2009.
g. PWD candidates need not apply against the post of JE (ATC) & JE (Fire Service), as these posts are not identified for them.
h. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the written tests.
i. Securing at least 60% marks shall constitute First Class Degree wherever prescribed.
j. The eligibility under the category of persons with disabilities is for those persons having 40% or more disability.
k. The persons with disabilities can be selected on merit against the unreserved vacancies.
l. Last date for receipt of application for NER & J&K is 31.08.2009.
HOW TO APPLY
1. Candidates have option to apply on-line through AAI’s websites http://www.aai.aero/ OR http://www.airportsindia.org.in/ candidates should refer to the detailed Advertisement available at our website for all information relating to guidelines for submitting application on-line. The acknowledgement slip generated after online submission of application be sent directly by post alongwith crossed demand draft of Rs. 100/- in favour of Airports Authority of India payable at New Delhi where required.
2. Those candidates who do not apply online they can send their application in the format given below to “HR Cell, Airports Authority of India, Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi-110 003”. Applications must be accompanied by crossed demand draft of Rs. 100/- (non refundable) in favour of Airports Authority of India payable at New Delhi. Envelope shall be marked with the post applied for.
3. Candidates applying for more than one post should apply separately alongwith separate DD. AAI will not be responsible for any postal delay.
4. Applications received after the last date shall be rejected without any further correspondence. It may also be ensured that all enclosures are enclosed to the application form properly. No column in the application form should be left vacant. Incomplete/incorrect/unsigned applications/ applications without photos will be rejected without any further correspondence. Canvassing in any form or bringing any influence will be treated as a disqualification.
